The story embodies the spirit of entrepreneurship and the visionary outlook initiated by Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al Tamimi in 1942. In its early days, the group focused on supplying raw materials to Saudi Aramco, becoming an integral part of the Kingdom's economic growth journey.
Tamimi Commercial
From a small store and an ambitious vision, Tamimi Commercial & Maintenance began its journey in 1949, marking one of the Group’s earliest steps toward expansion. Over the years, it grew into one of Saudi Arabia’s oldest and largest importers and distributors, building long-standing partnerships with international brands.

Tamimi Real Estate
The Group’s entry into real estate in 1953 marked an important step in its diversification journey from the Eastern Province. From this beginning, Tamimi Real Estate evolved to deliver integrated solutions across residential and commercial development, property and asset management, facility management, operations, and maintenance.

TASECO
In 1959, the Group’s journey expanded into transportation with the launch of TASECO. For more than six decades, the company contributed to passenger transportation across Saudi Arabia, while expanding its activities to include the operation and leasing of buses, vehicles, and equipment, alongside maintenance services.

Tamimi Global
A new chapter in the Group’s growth began with the establishment of Tamimi Global in 1977. Since its launch, the company has expanded across integrated services including catering, operations and maintenance, facility management, industrial services, pre-engineered buildings, and specialized workforce solutions.
Tamimi Markets
The Tamimi Markets journey began in Al Khobar, where its first store opened in 1979 and introduced a modern retail experience to Saudi Arabia. From that first location, the brand expanded across the Kingdom and Bahrain through several formats, including Tamimi Markets, Tamimi Express, Tamimi Mini, and Tamimi Café.
TCC
As the Group expanded its construction capabilities, Tamimco Company (TCC) joined its journey in 1998. Since then, TCC has developed specialized expertise in infrastructure and underground construction, supported by a fleet of horizontal drilling equipment capable of operating across different soil conditions in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region.
Masdar Al Hayat
The Group’s entry into food manufacturing marked a new milestone in its diversification journey with the launch of Masdar Al Hayat in 2009. Led by its flagship brand, FONTE, the company developed a diverse portfolio of food products supported by high standards of quality and food safety, along with a distribution network serving multiple market channels.
High Seas
The Group’s journey extended into marine services in 2010 with the addition of High Seas Marine & Industrial Services. From its strategic location in Ras Tanura, the company developed a range of offshore support, marine agency, ship chandelling, logistics, and technical services for customers across the Eastern Province’s ports.
Eastern Yields
The Group continued to diversify its activities by entering the investment sector through Eastern Yields in 2017. The company focuses on alternative asset classes, including private equity and venture capital, supporting promising local and international businesses while contributing to their growth and performance.
